Effective Ways to Maintain a Current and Effective Dental Client Database
Posted by staff on October 1, 2007
The trick to maintaining a current and effective dental client database is threefold: get accurate information, keep it updated and choose a software program that allows you to annotate each patient’s information as much as you desire.
If you were thinking about forgoing buying software and doing this manually, forget it! Handwritten changes in patients’ charts can become lost, illegible or just not happen when they need to happen.
Software, on the other hand, can be updated quickly and easily. It should, however, have enough space to make notes as mentioned above, and to be easy to update as well.
By keeping your client database current, you can maximize your marketing opportunities and keep up-to-date with patient information. It’s an important function of improving your practice’s bottom line!
